About

Dr. Megan Christian

I grew up on the Western Slope of Colorado and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Several military moves later, I settled long enough to receive my Master’s and Doctorate at the Washington School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. I moved back to Colorado and settled in Conifer with my husband, children, three dogs and two cats. I understand the trials and tribulations of a busy family, as well as the difficulties associated with a child with a learning disability and the daunting task of advocating and accessing resources.  I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and toting my children around for sports.

My Passion: I strongly believe that people can significantly improve when provided the appropriate diagnosis, treatment and support system. My approach promotes individualized assessment and treatment, which focuses on helping individuals and/or families gain valuable insight into themselves, re-discover skills and access resources.  My goal is to work with you to enhance your life, your child's life, the educational experience of your child, and/or the life of your family.

Experience: I began working with the Washington Department of Corrections completing psychological evaluations and providing individual and group therapies. Since moving to Colorado, I spent several years managing a community based mental health program before settling in a private practice in the foothills, where I currently provide a myriad of psychological and cognitive evaluations and individual therapy.
